the soft, earthy rain falling through Yakushima’s ancient forests—

even if you’ve never been, imagine standing there, feeling it all.

I carried these memories and fragrances into the creation of each cocktail,

exploring the untapped possibilities of shōchū while blending TIKI’s adventurous spirit with the subtlety of Japanese tradition.

Crafting flavors no one has tasted yet became a journey of its own—one that I invite you to join.

With every trial, every adjustment, I tried to capture not just taste, but a moment:

the way smoke lingers, the warmth of sunlight, the quiet after rain.

煙が空に立ち上る桜島、肌をじんわり温める薩摩の太陽、森に静かに降る屋久島の雨。

目を閉じると、まるでそこに立っているかのように、風や光、香りが流れ込んでくる。

僕はその土地を訪れたときの記憶や香りを胸に、焼酎の可能性を探りながら、TIKIの自由な発想と和の繊細さを組み合わせてみた。

まだ誰も体験したことのない味を少しずつ形にしていく時間は、まるで小さな旅そのもの。

香りや温度、余韻のひとつひとつに、土地への思いと自分の記憶をそっと重ねながら、

「もしこんな味わいがあったら、鹿児島を知らない人にも少しだけ届くかもしれない」

そんな想いで、ひとつひとつのカクテルを紡いだ。
